10th Birthday Celebrations for DogFest

DogFest celebrates our 10th birthday, kicking off the birthday season at Loseley Park this April, returning with a programme packed full of fun.

From Dog School to Breed Meet-Ups to the Big Dog Walk, this year’s event features some of our festival favourites plus new activities including The Breed Meet-Up Challenge, Barn Hunt, Canicross, face-painting for the kids, and more.

We invite our fans to share the birthday spirit

Let's face it, it’s also not birthday party without a song and a dance!  We’ll be singing ‘happy birthday’ to DogFest after our Birthday Doggie Disco in the Action Arena at midday on both days. We're making a fuss about dog dancing as a shout out to Nicci Hindson and her dog Elsa who won in the Heelwork to Music category at Crufts this year;  and to Lucy Heath and her Trickstars who qualified with 3 dogs at Crufts.  Come watch our amazing features people dance for the love of DogFest!  We’re inviting our fans to make a birthday fuss for us by trying dog dancing at home and posting their videos to our socials.   Please post your dancing with your dog using the hashtag #DogFest10

Walkies Down Memory Lane

A decade of devotion to our four-legged companions has transformed DogFest into a must-attend event for pet enthusiasts, breed aficionados, and families seeking a day filled with furry fun. From its modest beginnings in 2014 as a small gathering for dog-lovers, year-on-year DogFest has grown, bringing fun and famous faces – including Clare Balding, Noel Fitzpatrick, Michaela Strachan, Matt Baker, Scott Miller and more – to its venues across the UK.  DogFest is now a yearly highlight, synonymous with celebrating the unique bond between humans and their canine companions.

We want to see your pictures and videos from the last 10 years, hear about your memories and we might just feature them! Send to us in a DM or tag us to share your favourite memory of DogFest: #DogFest10 #DogFest #WalkiesDownMemoryLane #Throwback

We are so grateful for the support of our community, sponsors, and the countless dog lovers who've made this event a success. Here's to another ten years of celebrating the love we share with our furry friends!

Since DogFest began, it’s racked up some pretty impressive stats:

  • Over a million dogs and visitors have attended across 29 different venues
  • 1,000+ Fun Dog Show winners
  • 300, 000 balls chewed in the ball pit
  • 50,000 very soggy doggies have taken part in dog diving
  • Over 650 miles walked on our Big Dog Walks which is further than walking from John o’ Groats to Lands End!

This milestone anniversary year promises to be the most exceptional yet, with an exciting lineup and, of course, the opportunity to make lasting memories with their furry friends.
